Code editor

This section covers usage and features of the code editor.

In DataGrip, code editor allows you to write and edit SQL queries in query files, SQL files, scratch files, and when you are working with database object definitions.

Also, depending on the IDE settings and installed plugins, you can edit files in other formats, such as XML, JSON, YAML, and so on.
