Inspectopedia 2026.2 Help

Heredoc can be nowdoc

Reports heredoc string literals that contain no variable interpolation, no expression interpolation, and no escape sequences, and could therefore be written as nowdoc.

According to PER-CS 3.0 ยง10, nowdoc SHOULD be used wherever possible. A heredoc that does not rely on any of its interpolation or escape-processing features is equivalent to the corresponding nowdoc and is clearer to read.

See PER Coding Style 3.0 (php-fig.org) for details.
