Deployment

Use deployment configurations to copy files between your project and a local folder, a mounted drive, or a remote server. You can upload, download, compare, and synchronize files from GoLand.

File transfer does not build or start a Go application. To build and run code on another machine, configure a run target. To work with an IDE backend on a remote machine, use remote development.

Start by configuring a server, then upload or download files. For a local example, follow the deployment tutorial.

File transfer uses the bundled FTP/SFTP/WebDAV Connectivity plugin. If deployment actions are missing, open Settings | Plugins | Installed and enable the plugin.
