# Role Assignments

The Roles tab in your member profile displays a list of roles that are assigned to your account in various projects. If you have permission to manage these settings, you can grant access to your account by selecting a role in a specific project or group.

> **Note: External Hub Accounts**
> This tab is only visible when YouTrack is integrated with a built-in Hub service. If your installation is connected to an external Hub, these settings are managed directly in Hub. To access your Hub account from YouTrack, click the Update personal information and manage logins link in your YouTrack profile.

The following actions are accessible from the toolbar:

| Action | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Grant role | Opens a dialog that lets you grant yourself a specific role in an organization or project. |
| Revoke role | Revokes the selected role assignment from your user account. |
