• var – extract a global variable.

• const – extract a constant.

• let – extract a local variable.

  The let option is available only for JavaScript 1.7, JavaScript 1.8.5, ES5, and ES6.

Introduce variable

The option is available when you choose to extract a part of a string literal. Choose how to introduce the extracted variable inside the literal:

• By embedding - the variable will be introduced using the Complex (curly) syntax, for example "foo {$bar}".

• By concatenation - the variable will be introduced using the concatenation operator ('.'), for example "foo . $bar".
