License Server Help

Managing licenses

After you register License Server (FLS) with your JetBrains Account, you can manage the pool of licenses available to FLS. A separate team is created in your organization's JetBrains Account for managing licenses available to FLS.

When you add a license from your JetBrains Account to FLS, it becomes a floating license, so multiple people can use it instead of just one. If you want it to work as an individual license, remove it from FLS and assign it through JetBrains Account instead.

FLS connects to JetBrains Account every hour to refresh license information. The date and time of the last connection are shown at the bottom of the FLS web page. If you don’t want to wait, click Force now to connect and sync the license data immediately.

Add licenses to FLS

  1. Open your FLS URL. For example, if you are running it locally on the default port 8080, open the following URL: http://0.0.0.0:8080/.
