Method can be made 'static'

Reports methods which may safely be made static.

A method may be static if it is not synchronized, it does not reference any of its class' instance methods and instance fields, and it is not overridden in a subclass.

Locating this inspection

By ID

Can be used to locate inspection in e.g. Qodana configuration files, where you can quickly enable or disable it, or adjust its settings.
