# Sign up for Cloud trial

Sign for a free Cloud trial to unlock the Datalore features of the Cloud plan.

The 14-day Cloud trial plan allows you to register yourself as a team owner and sign up a team of up to three people. To sign up, go to the Datalore plans [selection page](https://www.jetbrains.com.cn/en-us/datalore/buy/) and perform the procedure below.

The Cloud trial has limited Cloud plan functionality. View the differences in the table below.

> **Warning: Workspace sharing restriction**
> If a Cloud trial plan user shares a workspace with edit access, Cloud plan users cannot edit the workspace (for example, create notebooks there) after the trial period is over.

Procedure: Procedure

1. On the Cloud tab, click Get a free 14-day trial to expand the form.

2. Select a tab (Create an account or Use your active account) and proceed accordingly.

Create an account:

1. Provide an email.

2. Provide a password.

3. Click the Get started button. You will receive a verification email.

4. In the verification email, click Verify email. This will activate your Cloud trial license and forward you to the Datalore Terms of Service page.

5. Click Accept and continue to Datalore.

> **Note:**
> You can optionally allow Datalore team to send you educational and other product-related materials and access your notebooks for quality assurance.

Use your active account:

1. Under Or sign up with:, select which type of your active account you want to use:

* Google

* JetBrains Account

2. Complete the authentication process required by the selected option.

Once you perform these steps, you go directly to Datalore and can start using the product as a team owner.
