# Export

The procedures below explain how to export notebooks, reports, and workspaces in various formats.

## Notebooks

You can export your Datalore notebooks in the following formats:

* `.ipynb`

* `.zip`

* `.py`

* `.kts`

* `.scala`

* `.r`

* `.html`

Available export formats vary depending on the notebook's language.

Procedure: Export a notebook from the Home page

1. In the sidebar, select the workspace that contains the notebook you want to export.

The ![Book](https://resources.jetbrains.com.cn/help/img/datalore/2026.3/book.svg)Notebooks section opens by default.

2. Locate the notebook and click ![Three docs icon](https://resources.jetbrains.com.cn/help/img/datalore/2026.3/dots.svg) (More) next to it.

3. Select Export and the desired export format.

Procedure: Export a notebook from the editor

1. Open the notebook you want to export.

2. In the main menu at the top, select File | Export and the desired export format.

Procedure: Print a notebook from the editor

You can view and print your notebook output as PDF using the browser interface.

1. In the main menu at the top, select `File | Print .pdf`.

2. Follow the prompts in the browser's print dialog.

## Reports

Procedure: Print a report

1. Open the report you want to print.

2. Click ![Dots](https://resources.jetbrains.com.cn/help/img/datalore/2026.3/dots.svg)(More) at the top right and select Print .pdf.

3. Follow the prompts in the browser's print dialog.

## Workspace

Export a workspace by downloading it as a .zip file containing the workspace attachments, workspace notebooks, and reports made from those notebooks (if available).

Procedure: Download a workspace

1. In the sidebar, select the workspace you want to export.

2. Click ![Settings](https://resources.jetbrains.com.cn/help/img/datalore/2026.3/settings.svg)(Settings).

3. In the Settings dialog, click Download workspace as .zip.
