# Add files

Use Datalore's interface to easily add and manage files as notebook attachments or workspace resources.

> **Note:**
> This feature supports SQLite databases that you can query after you attach them to your notebook from your file system.

## File categories

Workspace files
: These files are stored in the resources of a workspace and available for all notebooks this workspace contains.

Private workspace files
: These files are stored in the resources of your Private workspace and can be available to any notebook this workspace contains after you attach them to this particular notebook.

Notebook files
: These files are added to a specific notebook and can be available only there unless you copy or move them to the resources of the respective workspace.

Cloud storage files
: These files are stored in a cloud storage bucket or directory and become available in a notebook after you attach the respective cloud storage connection to it.
